Responsibilities

As Research Analyst (m|f|d) Macro and Capital Markets Global you will:
  • Research and analyze fundamentally current trends, topics and events
  • Create, maintain, and update proprietary macroeconomic models
  • Evaluate delivered research by brokers and independent institutions
  • Develop within your team international macro scenarios on economic activity and capital market expectations (across asset classes)
  • Work with the team to handle requests for information from institutional clients, the executive board and portfolio management
  • Prepare and communicate research output with the respective stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Master degree in economics, econometrics, finance  or similar
  • First experience in the financial industry (e.g. internships in investment banking, asset management, wealth management) would be helpful
  • Profound knowledge of global economics and  fundamental analysis, knowledge either ofquantitative analysis methods or experience in Asia would be a plus
  • High degree of literacy in Microsoft Office; experience using quantitative statistical packages such as e.g. EViews, at least basic knowledge; knowledge of R and/or MatLab a positive but no requirement
  • Knowledge in the use of external databases, e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv EIKON a plus
  • Fluent verbal and written expression in German and English; strong communication skills with a team player mentality, (basic) knowledge in Chinese would be appreciated
  • Willingness of out of the box thinking
  • High analytical skills
  • Part-time possible
